LG G7 ThinQ & LG Q7 get certified in Russia, to launch on May 3?

LG is all set to launch its flagship smartphone, LG G7 ThinQ and its sibling LG Q7 on May 3 as per the reports.

Both the smartphones were recently certified in Russia by EEC (Eurasian Economic Commission). Notably, the certifications did not reveal the specs and features of the phone. However, the certification hinted that smartphones will run on the Android 8.1 out of the box.

The alleged renders of the LG G7 ThinQ have been recently surfaced online. The renders suggest that the flagship will come up with an iPhone X-like notch display. The frame of the device will be made of metal with power key placed on the right side.

The speculations further suggest that the smartphone will feature a 6-inch display with a 19:9 aspect ratio and the QHD+ resolution. The handset is almost certain to mark an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC.

On the camera front, LG G7 ThinQ is likely to sport a dual camera setup with AI. It is expected to carry 3000 mAh battery.
