HTC U12 is an upcoming flagship device. As the name suggests, it will be the successor of 2017’s HTC U11. The details of the smartphone have been recently leaked online recently.

The renders of the phone suggest 18:9 aspect ratio display design with minimum bezels. The leaked images of the phone also show power key and volume rockers on the top-right side of it.

If reports are to be believed, the device might feature a fingerprint sensor on the rear side to house an all screen design. On the contrary, few rumors suggest that it could sport an Iris scanner on the security front. Overall, it is difficult to say anything certainly regarding the handset’s security feature. Meanwhile, the company is expected to skip the 3.5mm audio jack on the phone.

One of the highlights of the HTC U12 will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, as per the reports. The likes of Samsung Galaxy S9, OnePlus 5 and LG G7 are also in the line to mark the Snapdragon 845, which is currently Qualcomm’s most powerful chip.  The handset is also dubbed to feature 4K display. In terms of camera, flagship could mark dual-camera setup on the back and single sensor on front.

It is worth mentioning that HTC had a miserable 2017 as the company ended the year with revenue of $2.1 billion, lowest in 13-years. The firm will have high hopes from HTC U12 to make a recovery in 2018.
