Honor India recently announced a new smartphone with four cameras for the Indian market. Presumably, Huawei-backed company might be referring to Honor 9 Lite, which was earlier launched in December 2017 in China.
Honor 9 Lite might be launched by the end of January in India, as per the reports. Notably, Honor 9i is the company’s another smartphone already present in the market with four cameras, priced at Rs. 17,999.
Honor 9 Lite runs on Android 8.0 Oreo on the top of EMUI 8.0. The handset is powered by HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor paired with 3GB or 4GB RAM. The mid-range smartphone sports four cameras with the dual rear, and dual front sensors.
The handset has a 5.65-inch full-HD+ IPS display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. It has two storage variant, 32GB or 64GB, which can be expanded up to 256GB. The dual-SIM smartphone houses 3000mAh battery.
Honor 9 Lite might cost around Rs 10,000 to Rs. 16,000, depending on the variant.
There are only few smartphones in the mid-range category features four cameras, especially in Indian market. The device is expected to be exclusively available on online platforms.
