After launching a powerful top-end Snapdragon 845 processor, Qualcomm has announced their all new Snapdragon 710 SOC SoC. The upcoming processor will be powerful than Snapdragon 660 SOC, but will not be able to compete with Snapdragon 845 SOC.
The chip was earlier unveiled by Qualcomm at the Mobile World Congress in February 2018. The new Snapdragon range will offer features that were initially just on the premium Snapdragon 800 series. It’s also been said that Xiaomi may adopt this newly launched processor for its upcoming smartphones. For now, it is available to Qualcomm’s customers such as mobile manufacturers and other device manufacturers.
The new Snapdragon 710 features a multi-core AI Engine to enhance its capabilities and performance. Kedar Kondap, Vice President, Product Management, Qualcomm Technologies says that Snapdragon 710 is designed to transform our customer’s products into a personal assistant. And it thrives to provide high-end camera features without sacrificing its battery life.
In terms of display, the new Snapdragon supports 4K HDR playback and also manages to bring more brightness and color depth overall. Not only this, but it also includes 4X4 MIMO technology which allows up to 70 percent faster download speed even in week signal conditions. It also offers new Wi-Fi features, Bluetooth 5 and Qualcomm TrueWireless Stereo Plus.
