Nikon has announced the release of latest Nikon 1 AW1, V3 and J4 cameras with interchangeable lenses that propose new forms of imaging expression.
The Nikon 1 cameras are available across India by end of November 2014 at an MRP of:
- Nikon 1 AW1 with 11-27.5mm F/3.5-5.6 kit (Black): INR 39,950/-
- Nikon 1 V3 with 10-30mm PD lens kit (Black): INR 43,950/-
- Nikon 1 J4 with 10-30mm PD lens kit (Black and White): INR 24,950/-
Nikon 1 AW1
The Nikon 1 AW1 comes with a interchangeable lenses, which allows new forms of imaging expression, including high-speed performance and a compact size that makes the cameras easy to take anywhere.
It is the world’s first digital camera with interchangeable lenses to be waterproof to a depth of 15 m and can resist a 2m high drop and freeze proof up to -10 degrees.
Nikon 1 V3
The camera offers superior image quality with high sharpness and definition, and an operational feel similar to that of a digital SLR camera.
It is the first Nikon 1 camera to be equipped with a vari-angle LCD monitor that enables flexible shooting from any angle, new intuitive touch-screen control that is easy to use.
The Nikon 1 V3 sports an 18.4-million pixel super high-speed AF CMOS Sensor with no low-pass filter and the new EXPEED 4A image-processing engine, the combination of which enables superior image quality.
Nikon 1 J4
The camera features an 18.4-million pixels, a super high-speed AF CMOS sensor with no low-pass filter, and the latest EXPEED 4A image-processing engine.
Nikon 1 J4 boasts a TFT LCD touch screen, built-in Wi-Fi for sharing of images, and a variety of functions for recording 1920 x 1080/60p full-HD movies, including Fast Motion, Jump Cut, and 4-second Movie.
Just like the Nikon 1 V3 and Nikon 1 J4, Nikon is also releasing the new 1 NIKKOR VR 10-30mm f/3.5-5.6 PD-ZOOM, a normal zoom lens compatible with the CX format and covering the 10-30mm range of focal lengths.
