Canon has announced the PowerShot SX410 IS and PowerShot ELPH 350 HS compact digital cameras. PowerShot SX410 IS camera feature an upgraded 40x optical zoom range.
The PowerShot ELPH 350 HS is a compact digital camera with a 12x optical zoom lens and a 20.2 megapixel CMOS sensor, with built-in Wi-Fi and Near Field Communications (NFC) capabilities.
The PowerShot SX410 IS Digital Camera comes with a 40x optical zoom range. The camera is also has the ECO mode to help extend battery life.
The camera’s Smart AUTO mode sets the ideal image quality settings by selecting from 32 pre-defined scene modes for still shots and 21 scene modes for video.
The PowerShot SX410 IS camera will be available in March 2015 in red or black for a price of $279.99.
The PowerShot ELPH 350 HS camera on the other hand has a 12x optical zoom lens and a high-resolution 20.2 Megapixel CMOS sensor.
It has a built-in flash and ample low light sensitivity up to ISO 3200 and Intelligent IS to help optimize image stabilization.
The PowerShot ELPH 350 HS digital camera is equipped with built-in Wi-Fi, allowing for wireless transferring of images and video to compatible mobile devices, Wi-Fi enabled computers.
The built-in Wi-Fi allows users to wirelessly print their images to any compatible Canon printer, like the PIXMA MG7520. Users can also shoot via Wi-Fi using a compatible smartphone or tablet.
With its built-in NFC feature, the PowerShot ELPH 350 HS camera can pair to compatible Android devices, as well as to the Canon Connect Station CS100 photo/video storage and sharing device.
The device also features Canon’s Creative Shot mode, Smart AUTO technology and Hybrid AUTO for simultaneous still and video capture.
The PowerShot ELPH 350 HS camera is scheduled to be available in April 2015 in black and silver for a price of $209.99.
