Microsoft has announced that Xbox One is heading to 29 additional markets this month including India, Russia, China and Japan.
It’s an important month for Microsoft as games like Forza Horizon 2, Fifa 15 and Call Of Duty Advanced warfare are coming exclusively to Xbox One.
“What makes September truly special is that gamers from 28 additional countries will get to experience the games and entertainment on Xbox One for the very first time,” said head of Xbox, Phil Spencer.
The Xbox One is already available in Chile and Colombia. On September 4, it will be available Japan.
Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Saudi Arabia, Slovakia, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United Arab Emirates get the Xbox One on September 5.
After that it will be released in Israel, Hong Kong, India, Korea, Singapore, South Africa and Taiwan. China will get Xbox on September 23. Russia will get the console on the 26.
Xbox gamers One markets will be able to enjoy the line-up including games like Forza Motorsport 5, Dead Rising 3 and Ryse: Son of Rome, will be joined by Sunset Overdrive and Halo: The Master Chief Collection in the coming months.
Meanwhile, Sony X will now be available in 42 markets. The console made its debut in November. Sony’s Playstation 4, which is outpacing the Xbox One in terms of devices sold, has been available in 48 markets since December.
Apart from the exclusive games, users have a strong and connected community on Xbox Live.
Users can now see their friend’s updates through their consoles and play games online with different opponents or team up with them.
