LINE released globally for iPad

LINE Corporation has announced the global release of the iPad version of the LINE app. The PC version of LINE has been available since March 2012.

LINE hopes to increase its presence worldwide as well as expand its user base. The company plans to continue its efforts to add and improve features in order to increase the user-friendly aspect of the service by offering support for the tablet market.

According to a research by Gartner nearly 200 million tablets were shipped worldwide in 2013, and over 70 million of those devices were Apple iPads, accounting for 36% of that number.
