Sony unveils UX series high speed SD cards

Sony has announced the launch of its new Ultra High Speed SD card UX series, with fast data transfer speed and 4K compatibility.

Sony has extended its memory card portfolio with the launch of SD Card UX Series 128GB. The SD Card UX Series 128GB comes with data transfer speeds up to 94MB/s (read) and up to 60MB/s (write).

The SD card also feature an Ultra-High Speed (UHS Speed Class 3) for smooth 4K recordings as well as minimal buffering when capturing still images in Burst, multi-frame or panoramic modes.

The SD Card UX Series 128GB is also compatible with  XAVC S codec mode recording.

The new card will have the Sony File Rescue software, the first in the world to support 3D movies and photos. This software allows users to recover accidentally deleted precious photos and movies.

The SD card is protected with molded resin, making the memory card durable, shockproof and resilient to extreme temperatures.

The SD card is priced at Rs 13,200 and is available across all Sony Center and major electronic stores across India.

In August, Sony also announced the UZ series of Ultra High Speed SD card.

The memory card are available in 32 GB and 64 GB variants and have a high data transfer speed and 4K compatibility with cameras and smartphones.

Due to the fast transfer speed, the card is recommended for shooting with DSLR cameras and allows users to record 4K in smartphones, which improves the efficiency and minimize workflow for photographers.

The Sony Ultra High Speed SD card is ideal for semi-professional photographers and videographers.

The new memory card comes with data transfer speeds of 95MB/s (read) and 90MB/s (write) and promises quick and efficient transfer.

These cards are built to last and is shock resistant, water-proof, temperature-proof, X-ray-proof and dust-proof. It supports 3D movies and photos.

The 32 GB (SF-32UZ/T1 IN) card is available at Rs 5,339 and the 64GB (SF-64UZ/T1 IN) card is available for Rs 9,942.
