Schneider Electric has launched a portable charging device called APC Mobile Power Pack. The power bank has a slim design and comes in tw variants.
APC Mobile Power Pack comes with 1.5A mini USB Charging port to charge unit, 1A USB port to charge mobiles, 2.4A USB port to charge tablets, 0.3mtr Charging cable and push – button LED display to show available battery life at a glance.
“Looking at the growing demand of smartphones and tablets, APC’s Mobile Power Pack will easily connect with the tech savvy consumers today. The product is been designed keeping in mind about the Indian customers and the major benefit of the pack is that it saves battery life and also energy.” said Nikhil Pathak vice president and country general manager, Schneider Electric India.
The APC Mobile Power Pack comes in two capacities, 5000mAh, which can charge smart phone twice, and half charge a tablet and 10000mAh which charges smart phone four times and fully charges a tablet.
The product comes with multiple safety features like Over- charging protection, Over- discharge protection, Short circuit protection, Ultra low dark current, Overload protection.
The device can be used for powering and charging Smart phones, iPad, and tablets.
It saves battery lifespan and energy by automatically shutting down when the connected devices are fully charged. The product will be available in the Indian market from today.
Recently the e-commerce channel Snapdeal also exclusively launched the Ambrane Power Bank P-1000 star at a price of Rs 999. It has a battery capacity of 10400mAh and uses Samsung lithium ion cells.
The power bank sports a dual USB Port which will enable the user to charge two devices at the same time. It also has an LED indicator and is compatible with Phone Tablets, MP3s, PSPs, Cameras and all USB charging gadgets.
It also has one year manufacturer warranty against manufacturing defects.
