Samsung Gear Circle Bluetooth headphones now available for Indian customers

Samsung has launched the Gear Circle Bluetooth headset for the Indian customers at a price of Rs 5,599. The headset was introduced parallel to Gear S smartwatch in October.

Samsung last month also launched the Gear S smartwatch for the Indian market. Both devices were introduced alongside the launch of Galaxy Note 4.

The Samsung Gear Circle is a Bluetooth 3.0-enabled in-ear headset that can be paired with the smartphone to make or receive calls, access music, and take S Voice and other voice commands from users.

The headset comes with vibration option that alerts the user for an incoming call. It juiced up by a 180mAh Li-ion battery which claims to deliver 300 hours of standby time, 11 hours of talk time and 9 hours of music play time.

The device was priced at Rs 8,500 at the time of announcement, but now the price is slashed down to Rs 5,599. It will be available in Black, White and Blue colour options.

Samsung Gear S smartwatch was launched at a cost of Rs 27,900. It was introduced alongside the LG G Watch R in August during the IFA 2014 event. The Gear Ssmartwatch is standalone in the sense that it allows users to make and receive calls via 2G or 3G, unlike other smartwatches, and also offers Bluetooth 4.1 and Wi-Fi connectivity.

The device sports a curved Super-AMOLED display. Its unique design includes platinum plated bezels, and comes with multiple Watch Dial faces and changeable color straps. Users also have the option of buying Swarovski edition straps.

Through Gear S, users can access 3rd party apps, including the Nike+ fitness app, and use widgets to access their favorite apps quickly by just swiping right on the home screen. User can stay hands-free by using the S Voice.

The smartwatch also allows users to keep track of their health and fitness. Users can access charts and track their workouts and progress.  It even tracks the sitting time, reminding user to get up and stretch or go for a walk to keep activity level up.

It also features a GPS that enables turn-by-turn navigation. It also has a heart rate monitor, Gyroscope, Barometer and a UV sensor that warns you when the UV index is too high.

The Gear S is IP-67 certified, making it splash proof and dust resistant. It has an ultra power saving mode, which extends usage time when enabled.
