Reboot Systems forays into fitness line, launches Jawbone UP24 at Rs 3,999

Reboot Systems, a technology refurbisher in India, announced its foray into the refurbished fitness technology products segment with the launch of the Jawbone UP24 in India.

The fitness tracker bands will be available for a special introductory price of Rs 3,999 till Christmas at the Reboot Experience Centres & Zones spread across 12 states in India.

The company says the original Jawbone UP24 costs around INR 8,000. The product is available at Rs 4,399 at Reboot online store.

Reboot is also offering a national replacement protection plan of up to one year, the company said.

Reboot also offers desktops, laptops, PC peripherals and mobility devices. As part of Christmas offer Reboot is introducing refurbished Microsoft Surface Tablets (32GB) at a special price of INR 11,999.

As per Rahul Chowdhury, CEO and co-founder, Reboot Systems India, “Reboot had so far been a B2B focused enterprise and was catering primarily to the refurbished IT products requirements of corporates.”

Now with its entry to B2C segment, the company aims to offer all chip-based products which are less than 7kg in weight.

The company is planning to introduce gaming consoles and a new range of peripherals such as speakers, bluetooth devices and USB ports, Chowdhury said.

Refurbishment is at a nascent stage in India. Reboot Systems has launched several new consumer technology products as well as retail zones/points in India.
