Amazon launches Fire TV Stick with Alexa Voice Remote and TV Control

Amazon announced the Fire TV Stick, its streaming media stick, with Alexa Voice Remote and TV Control, for a retail price of Rs 3,999.

Customers can find their movies and TV Shows on Amazon Prime Video or launch their apps by asking Alexa.

Existing Fire TV Stick customers can purchase the all-new Alexa Voice Remote with TV control separately for Rs 1,999.

The Fire TV Stick with all-new Alexa Voice Remote is available for pre-order from today and will start shipping in the last week of January.

Customers can pair any Echo device with Fire TV Stick to control their channels hands-free. You can ask Echo to play and search for movies and TV shows, launch apps such as Netflix, Hotstar, Voot, SonyLiv, Zee5, and more, and control playback on your Fire TV without lifting a finger.

The Firefox or Silk browsers help customers visit websites such as YouTube, Facebook and Reddit. Customers can also listen to songs, playlists, live radio stations, and podcasts through services like Amazon Prime Music, Saavn, Gaana and TuneIn.

The Alexa Voice Remote is compatible with all Fire TV devices in India and can control power and volume on thousands of TVs. For more information on device compatibility, visit amazon.in/alexavoiceremote
