Videocon launches VA81M tablet at Rs 4,900

Videocon has launched its VA81M tablet at a price of Rs 4,900. The device claims to offer long-lasting on-the-go connectivity with 3G network.

The new tablet comes with a 7 inch capacitive touch screen and runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS.

The device is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core processor coupled with 512MB RAM. It also offers dual SIM functionalities.

It is equipped with a 2MP rear camera and a VGA front facing camera with 4GB internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.

On the connectivity front it offers 3G voice and video calling, WiFi, Bluetooth and GPS.

The tablet is juiced by a 3000mAh battery.

“As on-the-go connectivity is driving the fast and smart interactivity, we aim to cater to the needs of hyperactive consumers with the launch of the VA81M tablet.” said Jerold Pereira, CEO, Videocon.

Earlier, the company launched the Z45 Nova+ smartphone for a retail price of Rs 4,900.

Z45 Nova+ features a 1.2 GHz quad core processor, Android KitKat 4.4 OS, 1800 mAh battery, 5MP BSI auto-focus rear camera, 2MP front camera and 4.5- Inch FWVGA IPS Capacitive screen.

8GB internal memory for apps along with up to 32GB external memory support and 1GB RAM will handle your storage needs.
