Microsoft has reduced the price of second gen Windows RT tablet, Surface 2 32GB Wi-Fi edition by $100. The device will now be available at $349.
Other Surface 2 models including the LTE powered, high storage SKU have also seen price reduction.
The price deductions are not permanent. Microsoft is also limiting the sale to five tablets per customer.
The price deduction can help Microsoft sell some more tablets and clear their inventory.
The 64GB Surface 2 tablet will be now available for $449 and the 64GB Surface 2 LTE tablet will be selling at $579.
The Surface 2 tablet was launched in September 2013. It boasts a 2GB of RAM, 10.6-inch 1080p display, Nvidia Tegra 4 processor, front- and rear-facing cameras, and Windows RT 8.1.
Unlike the Surface Pro 3, Surface Pro 2 sports a ARM processor.
