ZTE has announced a new smartphone Nubia Prague S for a price of CNY 2,499 (approximately Rs 25,600) in China on 19 January, 2016.
The mid-range smartphone with integrated eye scanner is available for pre-order, and shipping is available from 23 January, 2016. The device which is quite similar to last year’s Nubia My Prague model, is available in Silver and Rose gold color variants.
Flaunting a 5.2-inch full HD Super AMOLED display with OGS (one-glass solution) 2.5D screen and Corning Gorilla Glass 3, the Nubia Prague S , is powered by a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, 3GB RAM and has 64GB storage, expandable up to 128GB.
The smartphone which has an Eyeprint ID scanner, NeoSound 4.0, and an AKM4375 Hi-Fi audio chip7.1-channel Dolby audio and Dolby decoder, also sports a 13MP rear-facing camera with LED flash, ISOCELL sensor, PDAF, enhanced focus speed and low light capabilities, reveals the company in the product listing on its official online store. On the front side, there is an 8MP shooter with 78-degree wide-angle lens and NeoVision 5.2 Camera UI.
Juiced by a 2,200mAh battery with quick-charge technology which claims 25 percent charged battery from zero battery in 10 minutes and a Nubia UI 3.0 based interface, the all-metal device also contains dual SIM support, with one of the SIM slot also working as a microSD card slot. It also supports 4G LTE and has Bluetooth 4.0, dual band Wi-Fi, GPS and microUSB.
ZTE is yet to reveal plans of launching the handset outside China.
