Sun Airvoice today announced that it will shortly enter India’s mobile phone market with a range of devices under the brand name Ziox.
The handsets will be priced at sub Rs 7,000 and promise to offer uncompromising connectivity and features.
“In line with the government’s Make in India campaign, we plan to set up a manufacturing plant in India to make mobile handsets shortly. This will enable us to meet our customers’ rapidly changing preferences and demands.” said Vikas Jain, managing director, Sun Airvoice.
Sun Airvoice aims to expand its line of businesses in the coming years. Sun Airvoice operates across sectors including hospitality, construction and distribution.
Sun Airvoice, as part of its long-term strategy, will launch Ziox smartphones in a few states in the first phase of the launch. The company is planning to expand its presence in other parts of the country later. International markets are also in its targets.
