Xolo has launched its new variant of its 8X-1000 smartphone, the 8X-1000i at a price of Rs 6,999. The device will be selling exclusively through the e-commerce website Snapdeal.
The smartphone comes with 5 inch HD IPS display with 720*1280 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 294 ppi. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
It is powered by an octa-core MediaTek (MT6592M) processor clocked at 1.4GHz alongside Mali 450 GPU and 2GB of RAM.
It is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and Exmor R Sensor. It also boasts a 2MP front facing camera with 16GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The new variant also runs company’s Hive UI, which includes a launcher and support for themes, downloadable via ‘Edge’, a special store that features themes, ringtones and wallpapers created by the community and Indian artists.
It also offers Connect, a feature that Xolo customers can use to connect with the software development team, while allowing the company to get bug reports from users in real time.
Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, A-GPS, GPRS/EDGE, and Bluetooth. It is backed by a 1920 mAh battery, which claims to deliver up to 11 hours of talk time and up to 352 hours of standby time on 2G networks.
Xolo has also launched its new One HD smartphone at a price of Rs 4,777. It will be exclusively on e-commerce website Amazon.in and registration will begin this week.
The smartphone comes with a 5.5 inch HD display with 720*1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor clubbed with 1GB of RAM.
The smartphone is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with 1.4-micron pixel size and LED flash. There is a 5MP front facing shooter also on board, which also has an LED flash.
It has 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and has dual SIM support.
