The upcoming Samsung Galaxy A9 smartphone has passed the Bluetooth certificate. The device is expected to launch in the market soon.
A month back the device was spotted in an Antutu benchmark listing. The alleged device was spotted in Bluetooth SIG sporting a model no SM-A9000.
The Galaxy A9 is expected to feature a 5.5inch Full HD display with 1920x1080p pixel resolution. It will sport a metal body like all A series phones.
A Qualcomm 620 SoC will power the device. The chipset from Qualcomm houses the all new four ARM A72 cores clocked at 1.8GHz alongside four power saving A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz. It is accompanied by an Adreno 510 GPU and 3GB of RAM.
It will also support Cat.7 LTE with peak speeds of 300mbps and downloads up to 100mbps. The camera specifications and the battery are still unknown.
