Panasonic has introduced its Eluga L 4G smartphone in the Indian market. The device will be selling at a price of Rs 12,990.
The new Eluga L is has a lightweight and sleek design. It features a 6.1 mm lustrous finish design.
The smartphone comes with a 5 inch HD IPS OGS with 1280*720 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 64-Bit quad core processor with 1GB RAM.
The phone is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and is capable of shooting 1080 pixel videos. It also boasts a 5MP front facing camera.
The Eluga L is a dual SIM smartphone that has 8GB of internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the phone offers 4G connectivity, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. Other features include Light Sensor, Proximity sensor & Accelerometer.
Other 4G phone available in the market are Lenovo A7000, Huawei Honor 4X, Xiaomi Mi4i and Asus Zenfone 2.
Both Xiaomi Mi4i and Asus Zenfone 2 are priced at Rs 12,999, while the Honor 4X and Lenovo A7000 will be selling at Rs 10,499 and Rs 8,999 respectively.
Earlier Panasonic launched its new Eluga U2 smartphone in Taiwan.
The Eluga U2 sports a 5 inch full HD IPS display with 720*1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 64-bit quad-core 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM.
The smartphone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with Panasonic’s Fit Home UI out-of-the-box. The phone does not have dual SIM functionality like its predecessor Eluga U.
The new smartphone boasts a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera with 16GB internal memory storage capacity, which can be expanded to 32GB via microSD card.
On the connectivity front the device has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS/ A-GPS. The handset measures 141.5x71x7.95mm, weighs 131 grams. The Eluga U2 is fuelled by a 2500mAh battery.
