Panasonic has tied up with the e-commerce website Amazon.in to launch the new Eluga Icon smartphone. The device will be seling at a price of Rs 10,999.
The new phone comes with a unibody design, measuring 7.9 mm in thickness and weighing 147 gm. It sports a 5.5 inch HD display that comes with a new Icon User Interface providing single tap access to all apps.
It is powered by a 1.5 GHz True Octa core Processor clubbed with 2GB RAM. It also offers 4G LTE connectivity.
The Eluga Icon is also equipped with features like ICON User Interface providing single access to apps, iSense – a unique hand hover gesture based functionality, Smart Awake – Double Tap to wake-up screen, Air Swipe Unlock, Mediatek Hot-Knot and Blink Play feature for taking selfies or groupies with a blink of an eye.
It is loaded with a 13MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash, while there is an 8MP front facing camera on board.
Memory wise, the Icon comes with 16GB of internal storage capacity, which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G, Bluetooth, WiFi, MicroUSB. It is fuelled by a 3500mAh battery.
Earlier, the company introduced its Eluga L 4G smartphone in the Indian market at a price of Rs 12,990.
The new Eluga L is has a lightweight and sleek design. It features a 6.1 mm lustrous finish design.
The smartphone comes with a 5 inch HD IPS OGS with 1280*720 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 64-Bit quad core processor with 1GB RAM.
The phone is equipped with an 8MP rear camera with LED flash and is capable of shooting 1080 pixel videos. It also boasts a 5MP front facing camera.
The Eluga L is a dual SIM smartphone that has 8GB of internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the phone offers 4G connectivity, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. Other features include Light Sensor, Proximity sensor & Accelerometer.
