Chinese smartphone vendor Oppo has announced an upgraded variant of R5 smartphone, Oppo R5s. It has been listed on Oppo’s Europe website for EUR 199.
The Oppo R5s features a 5.2-inch full-HD AMOLED display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1.5GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor paired with 3GB RAM.
It is equipped with a 13MP shooter with LED flash and Sony Exmor IMX214 BSI sensor and 5MP in front with 83-degree wide angle lens.
The smartphone features 3GB RAM as compared to 2GB RAM in Oppo R5. Also, it comes with 32GB in-built storage, which is double of what R5 had.
It runs Color OS 2.0, based on Android 4.4. It is backed by a 2000mAh battery and features Oppo’s VOOC charging technology to get a 75% charge in 30 minutes.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. The Oppo R5s measures 148.9×74.5×4.85mm.
Earlier this month, the company also announced the launch of its diamond finished Mirror 5 smartphone in Indian market at a price of Rs 15,990.
It is a dual SIM smartphone that comes with a 5 inch IPS display with 960*540 pixel resolution and 220 ppi. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Quad-Core 64 bit processor with 2GB RAM.
It has an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front facing camera as well. It has 16GB of internal storage capacity.
