The OnePlus 2 smartphone has received an impressive response from consumers as over one million people have already registered for the invite.
The device was launched on 28 July and will be going on sale starting August 11 in select countries including India, China, Canada, the US, and some EU regions.
The 64GB OnePlus 2 has been priced in India at Rs. 24,999 and be available via Amazon India. The company will launch the 16GB version of the OnePlus 2 with 3GB LPPDR4 RAM later this year.
OnePlus 2 has an aluminum-magnesium alloy frame, jewelry-grade stainless steel body, HD 5.5” IPS LCD In-Cell display. The OnePlus 2’s display outperforms in direct sunlight with 178 degrees of crystal clear viewing angles.
It weighs 175 grams. OnePlus 2 has a 3300mAh lithium polymer battery powers. The dual-SIM device supports two Nano SIM cards with 4G LTE capability.
Android 5.1, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor, up to 64GB of storage and eMMC 5.0 flash memory and up to 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM are the other main features of the OnePlus 2.
In addition to 5 MP front-facing camera, OnePlus 2 has 13 MP rear facing camera with 6 physical lenses, dual LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. Its sensor contains large 1.3 µm light-collecting pixels to deliver low-light shots.
It has a USB Type-C charging port, the latest in charging and data transfer. OnePlus charging cable uses patented technology making the Type-A side reversible as well.
The OnePlus 2 is equipped with a fingerprint scanner for additional security.
