Motorola to price Moto Turbo 64GB Ballistic Nylon variant at Rs 41,999

Motorola today said the price of Moto Turbo 64GB Ballistic Nylon variant will be Rs 41,999 in India.

The latest smartphone will be available on ecommerce channel Flipkart.

The smartphone comes with an array of features including industry’s first ballistic nylon design. It sports a sharp display, a high resolution camera and a huge battery.

In the recent past, Indian market has seen the launch of many smartphones that fall under same price bracket as the Moto Turbo.

Apple iPhone 5S, Sony Xperia Z3 compact and the BlackBerry Passport are also available in the market at similar price.

The Moto Turbo sports a 5.2 inch quad HD display with 1440 pixels. The BlackBerry Passport comes with a 4.5 inch IPS LCD display with same amount of pixels.

Apple iPhone 5S offers a 4 inch LED backlit IPS LCD display, while the Xperia Z3 Compact packs a 4.6 inch IPS LCD display.

Both Moto Turbo and BlackBerry Passport are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, while the Xperia Z3 compact has a shatter proof glass. Apple iPhone 5S comes with Corning Gorilla Glass protection with oleophobic coating.

The Moto Turbo is powered by a 2.7 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, whereas the Passport is backed by a 2.26 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.

Apple iPhone 5S in turn uses a 1.3 GHz dual Core Apple A7 processor. The Xperia Z3 compact is powered by a 2.5 GHz quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor.

Both Moto Turbo and Passport are backed by 3GB RAM, while the iPhone 5S offers 1GB RAM and Xperia Z3 compact has 2GB RAM.

Camera wise, the Moto Turbo boasts a 21MP rear camera with autofocus and dual LED flash. The Xperia Z3 compact is a tad lower at 20.7 MP rear camera with LED flash.

The BlackBerry Passport sports a 13MP camera with LED flash while the iPhone 5S comes with an 8MP rear camera with autofocus and dual LED flash.

The Moto Turbo is fuelled by a huge 3900 mAh battery that provides up to seven hours of power in 15 minutes of charging.

The BlackBerry Passport also features a big 3450 mAh battery with up to 432 hours of standby time. The Sony Xperia Z3 compact is juiced by a 2600mAh battery, while the iPhone 5S has a 1560mAh battery with 250 hours of standby time.
