Motorola has introduced the new Moto E 4G variant for the Indian market and is up for pre-orders on Flipkart for INR 7,999 exclusively starting today.
The new device comes with a 4.5 inch qHD display and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor with a 1.2GHz quad-core CPU.
The new Moto E will also be available in a 3G version. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with more customization options.
It features a 5MP rear camera and also has a front facing camera for video calling. With two twists of the wrist, users can launch the camera with Motorola’s Quick Capture feature.
Users can choose from six Motorola Bands like turquoise or raspberry, or attach a colorful Grip Shell for added protection.
The device will go against the likes of recently launched Spice Stellar 526n and iBall Andi 5M Xotic.
The Spice Stellar 526n comes at Rs 7,999, while the Andi Xotic will be selling at a price of Rs 8,199.
Both phones come with 5 inch displays and both run on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
Storage wise, both phones offer 32GB of expandable memory and connectivity options include GPS/AGPS/GMS, Wi-Fi /HSPA.
Both phones have more powerful processors than Moto E’s 1.2 GHz quad-core processor.
The Stellar 526n Octa is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera with autofocus, a front-facing 3.2 MP camera and HD Video recording with Clear Motion technology to create superior motion-blur free videos.
The Xotic also comes with an 8MP rear camera with BSI sensor and dual LED flash. It also has a 3.2MP front facing camera with panorama view and face beauty options.
The Moto E is backed by a 2390mAh battery, while the Andi Xotic is juiced by a 2000mAh battery and the Stellar 526n packs a 2500mAh battery.
