Micromax has launched its Canvas Nitro 2 smartphone at a price of Rs 10,990. The device has a sleek design and measures 7.5 mm in thickness.
The new smartphone comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa core processor coupled with 2GB RAM.
It is a dual SIM smartphone that runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 and allows users to access a number of features including voice search, Google Drive, Hangouts for video calls, smart contact prioritization.
It is equipped with 13MP rear camera with autofocus and a 5MP front facing camera. The device has 16GB internal storage capacity which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the phone offers 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth. It is fuelled by a 2400mAh battery that claims to offer up to 9 hours of talktime and 250 hours of standby time.
The phone comes with pre embedded apps such as App center, ASKME, Chaatz, Clean master, Dr.Safety, Hotstar, MAD, Newshunt, PayTm , Quikr, Snapdeal, Swiftkey, Opera Mini, Saavn and Truecaller.
Priced at Rs. 10,990 and will be available in Moondust Grey and Pristine White colours pan India across channels starting today.
Last month, the company launched Canvas Spark at a price of Rs 4,999.
It comes with a 1.3 GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor with 1GB RAM; Android Lollipop 5.0; IPS display; 8MP AF rear camera; Corning Gorilla Glass 3; Dual SIM; 2000 mAh battery offering up to 335 hours of backup on standby mode.
