Micromax has announced the launch of its budget smartphone, the Bolt S301 at a price of Rs 2,899. The phone offers 3G connectivity to its customers.
The phone sports a 3.5 inch FWVGA display with 480*800 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 1 GHz single core processor paired with 512MB RAM.
It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and is upgradeable to Android 5.0 Lollipop. It comes with some pre loaded apps such as Quickr, Snapdeal and Scandid.
The device boasts a 1.3 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera with 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 16GB via microSD card.
The new smartphone also comes loaded with Smart Dual-SIM capabilities and will be available in Black and White colours.
The smartphone is juiced by a 1200mAH battery that claims to provide up to 240 hours of standby time and up to 4 hours of talktime.
Micromax also recently launched its BOLT D303 smartphone at a price o Rs 3,499.
The new smartphone sports a 4 inch WVGA display with 480*800 pixel resolution. It comes with pre-loaded with 10 regional languages and a new Messaging Service, which facilitates the users to translate and transliterate in the language they want with the patented ‘Swipe’ feature.
It is powered by a 1.3 GHz dual core processor paired with 514MB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS and can be upgraded through FOTA soon.
The phone is equipped with a 3.2 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera with 4GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
