Micromax has expanded its 4G smartphone portfolio with the launch of its Canvas Nitro 4G. The phone is priced at Rs 10,999 and will be available in black colour.
The device comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display with 1280*720 pixel resolution. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.
It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 octa core processor with 2GB RAM. It runs on Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS.
Camera wise, the phone has a 13MP rear camera with autofocus and dual LED flash, and a 5MP front facing camera is also onboard.
The device has 16GB of internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the connectivity front, it offers 4G, WiFi and Bluetooth. It is fuelled by a 2500mAh battery.

Micromax’s competitor Intex also today launched its Aqua Turbo4G smartphone at a price of Rs 7,444.
The new smartphone offers a 5 inch HD display with 128*720 pixel resolution. It measures 144.5*72.5*8.9 mm and weighs 150 g.
It is powered by a 1GHz quad core processor paired with 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS.
The smartphone is equipped with a 5MP rear camera and a 2MP front facing camera with 8GB of internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 32GB using a microSD card.
The instant sharing feature in the Aqua Turbo 4G known as HotKnot helps users share pictures, movies, music. Other features include the light sensor, gravity sensor, GPS Tracker.
The Aqua Turbo4G is juiced by a 3000mAh battery and connectivity options include Bluetooth, WiFi and hotspot.
