LG has confirmed the name of its upcoming flagship smartphone, the device will be called LG G7 ThinQ. It is the successor of G6, which was launched last year. Notably, the high-end smartphone was earlier expected to unveil at MWC 2018.
The company has also confirmed that the launch event will be held in Seoul and New York on May 3. If reports are to be believed, the flagship will come up with five color options Aurora Black, Platinum Grey, Moroccan Blue, Moroccan Blue Matte and Raspberry Rose. The availability of the colors will depend on the region and carrier. Among these colors, Aurora Black is reported to be the standard or default color of the smartphone, which means it will be available in every country or region.
The leaked renders of the device show vertical dual camera setup with an LED flash. One can also see a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor with standard LG branding on the back.
Talking about the specs, LG G7 ThinQ is almost confirmed to feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. It is expected to run on the Android 8.0 Oreo. A lot of information regarding the specs and features of the device is yet to come.
