Chinese Internet company LeTV will be launching its first smartphone, the Le1s in the Indian market on January 5. The company has already sent out the media invites for the event.
LeTV entered the smartphone space with the launch of its three devices, Le1, Le 1 Pro and the Le Max. Other services from LeTV includes live streaming, cloud, e-commerce, and smart TVs.
The company in October launched its Le1s smartphone in China, which is the first smartphone along with Le Max to feature a mirror-surfaced fingerprint recognition technology.
The Le 1s features a 5.5-inch full-HD display with 1080×1920 pixel resolution. The all-metal smartphone starts at CNY 1,099.
The Le Max, on the other hand is also an all-metal smartphone, featuring a 6.33-inch 2K display. It is backed by Qualcomm’s Xiaolong 810 SoC. It was priced at CNY 2,999.
Le TV also recently launched a Snapdragon 810-powered 65-inch 4K TV. The company is also expected to launch the Le Max Pro at CES.
