Lenovo Z5: No 4TB storage this time

Levono has launched the Lenovo Z5 smartphone in China. The company claims it to be the world’s truly bezel-less smartphone. However, the phone is not entirely bezel-less as it features a notch on top of the screen and side bezels too. The device comes with 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. Earlier, it was reported that Z5 will have a 95 percent screen-to-body.

Talking about the price, 6GB RAM+64GB variant of Lenovo Z5 costs CNY 1,299 (around Rs 13,500), while 6GB RAM+128GB storage model priced at CNY 1,799 (around Rs 18,800).  Z5 was earlier touted to come up with a 4TB storage variant, which now looks unlikely. The handset will go on sale in China starting June 12.

Lenovo Z5 features a notched 6.2-inch FHD+ display with an aspect ratio of 19:9  and 2246×1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor.

In terms of optics, the smartphone has a dual-rear camera with 16MP+16MP sensors powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI). The front facing camera is of 8MP with f/2.0 aperture.

The device packs a 3,300mAh battery. The launch of Z5 in India is not confirmed yet. Stay tuned for more tech news and updates.
