Lenovo has launched its P70 smartphone for the Indian customers through its online store. The phone will be selling at a price of Rs 15,999.
It is dual SIM smartphone that comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display with 720*1280 pixel resolution.
It is powered by a 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek (MT6752) processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and Mali T760-MP2 GPU.
The device runs on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the-box and also supports 4G LTE connectivity.
The P70 is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with a 5MP front facing camera. Storage wise, it has 16GB internal and 32GB expandable memory via microSD card.
On the connectivity front, it has 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth. It is fuelled by a 4000mAh battery that claims to deliver up to 18 hours of talk time and up to 696 hours of standby time on 3G networks.
The phone also has an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It also has the Quick Charge feature that fully charges it in 3 hours while a 15-minute charge offers up to 4 hours of talk time.
Lenovo also launched its A7000 smartphone this week for the Indian customers. The phone will be selling at a price of Rs 8,999 exclusively via e-commerce website Flipkart.
The smartphone sports a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 720*1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 64 Bit 1.5 GHz Octa core processor paired with 2GB RAM.
It has dual SIM functionalities and runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with company’s own Vibe UI on the top.
The A7000 boasts a 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, while on the front it has a 5MP camera. It can store up to 8GB of data and also supports microSD card for memory expansion.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G/ LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.
