Lenovo has launched its S60 smartphone at a price of Rs 12,999. The S60 will be selling online through company’s thedostore.com, Flipkart and Amazon.
The device comes with a 5 inch HD screen and is powered by a 64-Bit 1.2GHz Quad-Core processor coupled with 2GB RAM.
The device runs on Lenovo’s Vibe UI 2.0 on top of Android 4.4 KitKat OS. The device also has dual SIM functionalities.
It is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with auto focus and LED flash. It also boast a 5MP front facing camera. It has 8GB of internal storage capacity which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
On the connectivity front, the device offers 4G connectivity, Bluetooth, GPS. It is fuelled by a 2150mAh battery that claims to offer up to 19 hours on 3G and 10 days standby time on 3G.
The smartphone will go against the likes of Xiaomi Mi4i and Asus Zenfone 2, that were launched at the same price recently.
Mi 4i features a 5-inch 1080p full HD display with a sleek unibody design. It is powered by Snapdragon 615 second-gen 64-bit 8 core processor at 1.7 GHz clock speed, which has been created by Qualcomm.
With 3.9 mm thin edges and a metallic hairline, ZenFone 2 provides some good specifications including PixelMaster camera, Intel Atom Processor with a 4GB RAM and a 5.5 inch screen, at an affordable range starting from Rs 12,999.
