Lenovo has launched its A7000 smartphone for the Indian customers. The phone will be selling at a price of Rs 8,999 exclusively via e-commerce website Flipkart.
The smartphone sports a 5.5 inch HD IPS display with 720*1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by a 64 Bit 1.5 GHz Octa core processor paired with 2GB RAM.
It has dual SIM functionalities and runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS with company’s own Vibe UI on the top.
The A7000 boasts a 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, while on the front it has a 5MP camera. It can store up to 8GB of data and also supports microSD card for memory expansion.
Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G/ LTE, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB.
The phone measures 152.6×76.2×7.99mm and weighs 140 grams and is fuelled by a 2900mAh battery which claims to provide 39 hours talktime on 2G and up to 264 hours of standby time.
The Lenovo A7000 will also be industry’s first to incorporate the Dolby Atmos sound technology.
The new sound technology offers wider and enveloping soundfield, consistent playback volume across all content types and maximised loudness without distortion.
The new phone is the successor to previously launches A6000 which was priced at Rs 6,999.
The budget 4G smartphone came with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with 64-bit, quad-core CPU each running at 1.2GHz, 12.7 cms HD (1280×720) IPS panel, 8.2mm thin and weighs 128gms.
It has a 2300mAh battery, Dolby digital certified dual speakers and Android KitKat 4.4.4 out of the box.
