The phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and has dual SIM functionalities. The Flair Z1 measures 143.5×72.5×8.9mm, and weighs 160 grams.

It is equipped with 5MP rear camera with LED flash that comes with HD recording, grid feature, photo timer, and HDR mode, among others. It also sports a 2M front facing camera.

The device has 8GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded via microSD card up to 32GB. Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0, GPS, and Bluetooth 2.1 options.

The phone is juiced by a 2000mAh Lo-Po battery, which claims to deliver up to 15 hours 30 minutes of talk time on 2G networks and 9 hours 40 minutes talk time on 3G.

The Lava Flair Z1 will go against the likes of Canvas Spark, the latest 3G smartphone from Micromax, priced at Rs 4,999.

The Canvas Spark features a 4.7 inch IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor paired with 1GB RAM.

It has an 8MP rear camera fitted with M8 Largan Lens and OV sensor 8858 and a 2MP front facing camera with 8GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB.

It runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS and is fuelled by a 2000mAh battery offering up to 335 hours of backup on standby mode.

Both devices have similar specifications, but the Micromax Canvas Spark is more pocket friendly.

The LAVA flair Z1 has a bigger display, but has a low efficiency camera compared to the Canvas Spark.
