Transsion Holdings backed itel Mobile launched the budget smartphones, S42 and A44 in India. The S42 is priced at Rs 8,499 while A44 will cost Rs 5,799.
Both the smartphones will be available for purchase by mid-April.
Talking about specs and features, itel S42 sports a 5.65-inch HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The handset is said to be selfie-focussed, which features a 13MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and flash. The rear camera also marks a 13 MP sensor with dual flash and PDAF. The phone runs on the Android 8.0 Oreo.
It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor paired with 3GB RAM and 16GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via Micro SD card. Furthermore, S42 has 3,000 mAh battery.
On the other hand, itel A44 carries a 5.45-inch full-screen display with 18:9 aspect ratio. In terms of processor, the device is powered by MT6737M 64 bit quad-core processor with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal memory. The smartphone runs on the Android 7.0 Nougat.
The handset also has Bike mode function with a smart key. It features a 5MP snapper and a 5MP rear camera with flash.
