Huawei is expected to launch its Honor 5X smartphone in the Indian market. The device was unveiled in October this year.
The smartphone comes with a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display with 1080*1920 pixel resolution and is powered by a 64-bit, octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 SoC (four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.7GHz + four Cortex-A53 cores at 1.2GHz) coupled with Adreno 405 GPU.
The device runs on EMUI 3.1 UI which is based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS. It comes in two different variants, one with 2GB RAM, while the other is backed by 3GB RAM.
The Honor 5X with 2GB will cost around Rs 10,000 while the 3GB variant will be Rs 5,000 costlier.
The smartphone is equipped with a 13MP rear camera with dual LED flash, while there is a 5MP front facing camera also on board.
It comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be further expanded up to 128GB using a microSD.
The device also features a fingerprint. It is fuelled by a 3000mAh battery.
On the connectivity front, the device offers WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and USB. It will be shipping in White and Black.
