Huawei has unveiled its new smartphone, Enjoy 5 in the Chinese market. The device is priced at CNY 999 and is available for pre orders.
The Huawei Enjoy 5 is expected to launch in more markets but with a different name, Honor Play 5X. It measures 143.1×71.8×9.7mm and weighs 160 grams.
The new smartphone comes with a 5 inch HD IPS display with 720*1280 pixel resolution. It runs on company’s own Emotion UI based on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT6735) processor coupled with Mali T720 GPU and 2GB RAM.
It packs a 13MP rear camera with CMOS sensor and LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera also on board. It has 16GB internal storage which is expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card.
Connectivity options on the device include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. The device is powered by a huge 4000mAh battery that claims to deliver up to 20 hours of talktime and up to 24 days of standby time.
The company also recently launched its new flagship device, Honor 7 for the Indian market at a price of Rs 22,999.
The new smartphone comes with a 5.2 inch IPS NEO LCD display and is powered by a 2.2 GHz quad core Hisilicon Kirin 935 processor paired with 3GB RAM.
It runs on Emotion UI wrapped under Android 5.1 Lollipop OS.
It sports a 20MP rear camera with dual LED flash and an 8MP front facing camera with 8GB of internal storage capacity which is expandable up to 128GB via microSD card.
The device also features a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel of the device and also incorporates a multitasking key that can perform three different tasks.
On the connectivity front the Honor 7 has LTE connectivity, Bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. It is juiced by a 3100mAh battery that claims to provide up to 350 hours of standby time and up to 8 hours of talktime.
