Gionee on Wednesday launched its latest smartphones Marathon M5 and Elife E8 in Beijing.
Offering four-day battery life, M5 features 6,020 mAh battery against 5,000 mAh battery available in the M3 smartphone. M5 battery can standby for up to 62 hours even there is only 5 percent of power left. M5 can be charged in a short time. The M5 can be used as a power bank to charge two cell phones at the same time.
E8 has 23.7 MP rear camera, offering photographs up to 100 MP in resolution. It is the first Android smartphone to offer lossless zoom. Gionee aims to make it the best camera phone in the market.
Gionee also announced cooperation with WeBank to launch Gionee Wallet.
