Celkon has launched its Millennia Xplore smartphone in India, priced at Rs. 6,999. The company is also giving a free smart cover for the handset, which will be available through retail stores.
The new dual SIM smartphone packs a 5 inch HD display with 720*1280 pixel resolution. It is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor paired with 1GB of RAM.
The device runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. The handset sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera also onboard.
The Millennia Xplore comes with 8GB inbuilt storage, and can be expanded via microSD card up to 32GB.
On the connectivity front the device offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro-USB, and GPS connectivity options. It is fuelled by a 2000mAh battery and will be available in White and Gold colour variants.
The device will compete with Micromax Canvas Fire 4, which was launched in March this year at the same price.
The highlight of the device is dual front firing speakers and Cirrus Logic Wolfsan Stereo DAC (WM8918) digital analogue converter.
The smartphone sports a 4.5 inch FWVGA display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.3 GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM.

On the connectivity front, the phone offers Bluetooth 4.0/USB/Wi-Fi.
