According to some reports Foxconn has hired more workers to increase the production of the rumoured iPhone 6C. It is reported to be launched in November this year.
Some rumours piled up in the past saying that the iPhone 6C will be launched alongside the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in September. The news of a November launch instead was reported by Chinatimes.
A Foxconn insider has also been reported to have said that the company has received a shipment of 4-inch displays for the handset in question – contradicting a recent report of the iPhone 6c bearing a 5-inch display.
The iPhone 6c handset according to Jefferies, a brokerage house will have a full metal build and not the plastic casing as seen with the iPhone 5c model.
The reports also suggested that since the handset is supposed to be a cheaper version of the rumoured iPhone 6s, it might not use Force Touch technology.
Earlier it was said that some German carriers have also started pre-registrations for the iPhone 6s model.
Carriers like Vodafone Germany and T-Mobile have started issuing interest forms and tickets.
Some reports suggested the device to reach on September 26 to countries in the second phase of rollout.
In September last year, Apple launched iPhone 6 in two variants, iPhone 6 with 4.7 inch Retina display and iPhone 6 Plus with 5.5 inch Retina display.
The devices boasts LED-backlit widescreen Multi-Touch display with IPS technology but iPhone 6 has 1334 x 750 pixel resolution at 326 ppi whereas iPhone 6 Plus has 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution at 401 ppi.
Both iPhones are powered by an A-8 chip 64-bit architecture and M8 motion co-processor.
iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus sport an 8MP camera with iSight technology with an in-built slow motion sensor that records videos at 240 fps. The front facing camera is 1.2 MP with auto HDR mode.
Both smartphones have a fingerprint identity sensor built into the Home button known as the Touch ID.
Other sensors include Barometer, Three-axis Gyro, Accelerometer, Proximity sensor and Ambient light sensor.
