Sony Xperia Z1F –smaller version of Z1– arrives in Japan

Soon after Sony announced the Xperia Z1 –with a 5-inch display and 20.7MP camera, rumors about the ‘Xperia Z1 mini’ had started flowing through the web.

Though there will be no smartphone named –Z1 mini, Sony has just launched –Xperia Z1F, a smaller version of its flagship smartphone –Z1. It will be soon available in Japan and will be offered through NTT Docomo.

Sony Xperia Z1F

Sony Xperia Z1F features a 4.3-inch Triluminous display along with the same 20.7MP rear and 2MP front camera available on the Z1. This device is powered by a Snapdragon 800 quad-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz and runs on Sony’s Timescape on top of Android Jelly Bean 4.2.

It is fueled by a 2300mAh battery and has all the nice features including NFC.

Just like the Z1, Xperia Z1F has 16GB inbuilt memory and 2GB of RAM. Sony’s latest device is waterproof and is available in black, lime, white and pink colors.
