Smartphone major Samsung is planning to introduce smartphones with 64-bit processor.
This means the Korean electronics giant will follow America’s smartphone maker Apple. Apple on 10 September introduced iPhone 5s- the first smartphone with a 64-bit processor.
Samsung does not share time frame to launch new smartphones with 64-bit processor.
The mobile industry may expect that Samsung S5 may come with the new high-end processor which is the key highlight of Apple 5S.
At present, Apple is struggling to explain on the likely success of both smartphones to its existing users and investors. After the smartphone launch, Apple stock tanked.
Samsung co-CEO and Mobile chief JK Shin has revealed that their next smartphones will come with 64-bit processing power. He was speaking at his regular weekly meeting with chief executives of Samsung’s key affiliates, reports The Korea Times.
