Smartphone major Nokia is targeting to launch larger screen smartphone with phablet codenamed Bandit.
Bandit phablet may be unveiled in October or November 2013. The main target is to attract users during the holiday season in Europe.
Though detailed specifications are not available, Nokia Bandit will sport 6-inch display with high resolution of 1080p.
Nokia Bandit — running on Windows operating system — will be equipped with 20 megapixel camera.
At present, Nokia does not confirm the move.
The Nokia phablet is expected to compete with Samsung Galaxy Note.
Nokia’s another Windows RT based tablet is also expected to be coming up this year.
The Nokia phablet will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and is the first Windows phone to come with this processor.
Nokia phablet will have a body made of polycarbonate and thus will be light.
