LG G Pro 2 with 2.26 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip available in Asian mobile markets

LG today said G Pro 2 smartphone – with 2.26 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon chip — will be available in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Philippine, Vietnam and Indonesia among others.

At Mobile World Congress 2014 in Barcelona, LG introduced G Pro 2 smartphone with better UX features.

Key specifications of G Pro 2 include Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (2.26 GHz Quad-Core), Qualcomm Adreno 330, 5.9-inch Full HD IPS (1920 x 1080) display with slim Bezel, 3GB DDR3 RAM / 16GB/32GB eMMC ROM / microSD slot, 13.0MP rear OIS and 2.1MP front camera, 3,200mAh removable battery, Android 4.4 KitKat OS, 157.9 x 81.9 x 8.3mm size, 172g weight, LTE / HSPA+,  etc.

Connectivity options include Bluetooth Smart Ready (BT 4.0) / USB / Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n/ac) / NFC / SlimPort.

The new phone is available in colors including Titan Black, White and Wine Red.

“Asian consumers have been the biggest fans of smartphones with displays over five inches and we wanted to make sure that the G Pro 2 exceeded their high expectations,” Park added.

The G Pro 2 offers 77.2 percent screen-to-frame ratio with a 5.9-inch Full HD IPS display and 3.3mm side bezels. The smartphone’s IPS display produces crisp, bright images, taking full advantage of LG’s display technology. Combined with the 1 watt Hi-Fi speaker, the 1080p display on the G Pro 2 delivers beter multimedia experience.
