Samsung today announced Rs 10,000 exchange offer for Galaxy S4 smartphone in India.
The Rs 10,000 is the minimum exchange offer. Earlier, Samsung offered up to Rs 7,000 as exchange offer.
The new buyback offer is coming at a time when India is getting ready for the official launch of Galaxy S5, which was announced at the Mobile World Congress 2014. Galaxy S5 is likely to land in May.
As per the Rs 10,000 exchange offer, Samsung Galaxy S4 will be available for an effective price of Rs 31,500. The original price is Rs 41,500. You may find lower rates at some of the online portals. HDFC Bank is offering 18 month EMI option with Rs 1,750 per month.
There are smartphone also on the exchange offer list.
Galaxy S4 mini, the small version of Galaxy S4, will be available with Rs 5,000 exchange offer. The effective price of Galaxy S4 mini is Rs 18,500. HDFC Bank EMI will be Rs 1,028 per month for 18 months.
Galaxy Note II comes with Rs 4,000 exchange plan. The effective price of Galaxy Note II is Rs 28,500 across the Indian mobile phone market. EMI price from HDFC Bank is Rs 1,584 per month for 18 months.
