Taiwanese devices major HTC announced new price for its smartphone range including HTC One mini and HTC Desire 500, and new exchange offers for HTC Desire X and HTC Desire U.
As per the new price – ahead of the forthcoming festival season, HTC has priced HTC One mini at Rs 36,790. Earlier, HTC One mini that comes with BommSound, dual frontal stereo speakers and Blinkfeed, live home screen, was available for a price of Rs 43,090 in India.
On the other hand, HTC Desire 500 will now be priced at Rs 21,290 against earlier price of Rs 24,290. HTC Desire 500 has a 8MP low light camera and features quad core processor.
The loss making devices major, in an advertisement in a leading media in Delhi today, said HTC Desire X will come with an exchange offer. The effective price of HTC Desire 500 will be Rs 14,290 after the upgrade offer of Rs 2,500. Without the exchange, HTC Desire 500 will cost you Rs 16,790. HTC Desire 500 comes with Beats Audio for authentic studio quality sound.
HTC Desire U smartphone is also available with an exchange offer. The effective price of HTC Desire U will be Rs 11,890 after the exchange offer of Rs 2,500. Without the exchange, HTC Desire U will cost you Rs 14,390.
HTC Desire U has 10.2-cm WGCA display and comes with dual SIM (3G + 2G GSM capabilities.
Though these are the official price of some of the latest HTC phones, online portals are offering HTC smartphones are at different prices.
HTC is working hard to gain market share from Samsung, Micromax, Nokia, Sony, LG, etc. But its recent smartphones are not getting enough consumer demand in India. HTC is targeting 10 percent market share in India.
