Sony has launched the Xperia XA2, Xperia XA2 Ultra, and Xperia L2 in CES 2018. The smartphones are the successor of Xperia XA, Xperia XA Ultra, and Xperia L1. The mentioned smartphones are now available for the pre-order in the US and European market already. The launch date of the smartphones in India is not announced yet.
Xperia XA2 and Xperia XA2 Ultra fall in the mid-range smartphone category. The mentioned devices were earlier spotted on the GFX Bench (benchmark website) with model numbers H4133 and H4233 respectively.
Both the mid-range handsets feature Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor with Adreno 508 GPU. Xperia XA2 sports 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, while Xperia XA2 Ultra has 4GB RAM and 32GB or 64GB internal memory. The XA2 features a 3,300mAh battery, while the XA2 Ultra marks 3580mAh. The handsets also support QuickCharge 3.0 via a USB Type-C port.
Talking about the camera, the said devices have a 23MP camera with an f/2.0 aperture. On the front, Xperia XA2 features 8MP camera and XA2 Ultra sports 16+8MP dual-camera setup for selfies.
On the other hand, Xperia L2 falls in the entry-level smartphone market segment. The device has 5.5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by MediaTek MT6737T processor. The handset runs on the Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box. The device has a 13MP rear camera and 8MP camera on the front.
The exact prices of the mentioned smartphones are not confirmed yet.
