Motorola announced the availability of Moto E priced Rs 6999 in India. The smartphone is available through e-commerce portal Flipkart.
India was the first market where the phone was launched, followed by five other countries.
Moto E will be available in more than 40 countries through more than 80 carrier partners around the world over the next few weeks.
Moto E features a high-resolution 4.3” display with 256ppi, the sharpest in its class, the company claims. Corning Gorilla Glass and a water-resistant splash guard help protect it for lasting durability.
The smartphone features a 1980 mAh battery that lets users go all day without plugging in, the company claims. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor with dual-core CPU and 1GB RAM. With microSD you can get expandable memory of 32 GB.
With Android 4.4.2, KitKat as the operating system and guaranteed upgrade, users get with the latest Android experience.
The smartphone comes with interchangeable backs called Motorola Shells that provide more than 20 color and design combinations to let users personalize their phone.
The 5MP rear-facing camera with Motorola’s streamlined camera interface lets users touch anywhere on the screen to take a shot, capture panoramic pictures or record video.
Globally Motorola also launched the upgraded version of Moto G featuring 4G LTE. The upgraded version is available for $219 while the original Moto G continues to be available for $179 on Motorola.com.
