Micromax has launched Bharat 5 on December 1 in India. The company has given the tagline to the smartphone called “The Power Of 5.” Bharat 5 is an entry-level smartphone with the price tag of INR 5,555. It is worth noting that the said device has debuted a day after Xiaomi’s “Deshka smartphone” Redmi 5A.

Specs and features
On the design front, Bharat 5 features bezels all around the screen with an earpiece and a selfie camera on top. Mostly the phone is built of plastic material.
The highlight of the phone is a 5000mAh battery. According to company phone will give at least two days of battery backup. The handset comes up with the 5.2-inch HD display. It is powered by 1.6GHz quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB internal memory, which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. With the mentioned price tag, the RAM of the phone doesn’t seem sufficient. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat.
When it comes to the camera, Bharat 5 marks 5-megapixel primary camera with Bokeh Mode. Overall the features on the phone look average given the price of the phone.
